Franco Cerri

The passion for music took shape around the Second World War and, after receiving a gift from the father Mario longed guitar, mature thanks to the partnership with his friend and pianist Giampiero Boneschi with whom he began to deepen the knowledge of jazz.
Began his career in 1945, alongside Gorni Kramer with Bruno Martelli, Franco Mojoli, Carlo Zeme and the Quartetto Cetra, Cerri was immediately found in 1949 to play with Django Reinhardt, his first real guitar influence.
