Roberto Piccolo

Born in Rovigo in 1958. Milanese of adoption, she began playing the electric bass all 'age of 15 years with young musicians of the city. After classical studies he started attending the 'environment of the Milanese jazz in particular that of the mythical "Terminal" where he had the' opportunity to play with the greatest talents of the jazz world.
Numerous festivals that participated in, including Clusone, Ascona, Roccella Jonica, Varese in Jazz, North Carolina Jazz Festival, Jazz AH-UM Milan, Brianza Open, International Festival of Rimini and international tours in USA, France, Croatia , Switzerland, Malta.
He also plays in important Jazz Club as: SMOKE New York, Blue Note Milano, Torino Jazz Club, Duke University Durham, Ferrara Jazz Club.
Among his collaborations there are some of the biggest names in international jazz: Lee Konitz, Gianni Basso, Paul Jeffrey, Franco Cerri, Gianni Cazzola, Don Freedman, Sandro Gibellini, Antonio Farao ', Flavio Boltro, Bruce Ditmas, Luigi Bonafede, Bruno de Filippi, Michel Pastre, Elgelbert Wrobel, Arrigo Cappelletti, Denise Gordon, Carlo Atti, Claudio Chiara, Nico Menci, Alfredo Ferrario, Paul Alderighi, Stephanie Trick, Martha J.
He currently works on several projects and stable formations including: Paul Alderighi Trio, Quartet Arrigo Cappelletti, Alfredo Ferrario Quintet with talented musicians together with the living legend of Italian Jazz: Gianni Cazzola.
