Sergio Mazzei

Has studied at the “Tartini”academy of music in Trieste attending the course of piano, and subsequently the masterclass of jazz music in Siena,italy.
He has followed studies of drums improvement with masters Peter Erskine and Alfredo Golino.He has played in the “Sunday big band of Brescia”, with Mauro Scappini founds in 1991 the” jazz suite quartet”.
He carries out concert activity in jazz contexts and collaborates as drummer in various Afro-American music situations. Prestigious some of his collaborations with:Bob Wilberg, Rhonda Moore,Emil Mangeldorff, Kile Gregory, Graham Clark, Sandro Gibellini, Peppino Principe,  etc. With actor Ermes Scaramelli he presents happenings on Italo Calvino texts.From 1996 covers the role of percussionist in classic music group“Gruppo da camera Caronte”.
From 1993 he performs didactic activity.
