Massimo Repellini

Massimo Repellini began studying the cello at the Conservatory "L. Campiani "Mantua under the guidance of Maestro Francesco Strano and later he continued his studies at the Conservatory" G. Verdi "in Milan, with M ° Rocco Filippini, achieving in 1986 a diploma in cello. For two years, then attended the courses of Città di Castello always with Maestro Filipinos. 
To his credit has numerous investments as Principal Cello with the Mantua Chamber Orchestra, the Orchestra of the Musical Afternoons, the Orchestra of the International Festival of Brescia and Bergamo, Bergamo Musica Festival Orchestra, the Orchestra of the Teatro Regio Parma, the Marche Philharmonic Orchestra and the Orchestra of the Teatro Verdi in Salerno, conducting tours throughout the world. 
During his career he has collaborated with major symphony orchestras such as the Orchestra Filarmonica della Scala and the Orchestra of Italian Switzerland under 
the guidance of talented directors (Muti, Sinopoli, 
Sawallish, Gergiev, Mstislav Rostropovich, Temirkanov, Oren and many others). 
Very intense the activity of chamber music which over the years has led him to play with various chamber ensembles including the mention of La Scala String Quartet, with whom he has performed several times the quintet op. D 956 by F. Schubert for Two Cellos. 
The happy association, starting in the 90s with the famous baritone Leo Nucci and the Ensemble "Living '800", which he founded, has allowed him to live his deep passion for opera as a cello soloist in the "Living Room 800 "playing in the most famous theaters of Italy and the world. 
There are numerous recordings recorded both with Leo Nucci and with other chamber ensembles, often in the role of soloist. 
He was Professor of Cello at the Civic School "C. Monteverdi "in Cremona and at the International School of Violin Making in Cremona.
