Mauro Negri

Mauro Negri was born in Mantua in 1966, the city where he completed his classical studies, graduated in clarinet with Master John Bertolini. 
In this period of academic study has carried out an extensive concert career performing in duo and other chamber ensembles with pianist Marino Nicolini. 
Currently Mauro Negri is a permanent member of the quartet of French drummer Aldo Romano, with whom he has given concerts in Paris, Monaco, Hong Kong, Oporto, Guadaloupe and Amiens. 
In October '98 he joined Academic Orchestra Della Scala for two concerts with Enrico Rava, John Thomas, Gato Barbieri and Jimmy Cobb. 
With Enrico Rava recorded a SO-CALLED came out with the October issue of the magazine '98 "Musica Jazz" entitled "Certain secret corners" in April '99 and has recorded with Roberto Gatto, John Thomas, Barbara Casini Stefano Bollani and the CD "Wind" by Enrico Rava .
