Elisa Marangon

Then, fascinated by some masterclass encounters
with the vocal technique „Voice Craft“, she decided to concentrate on her vocal studies.
She studied with the „Voice Craft“ teacher Loretta Martinez. Later, she discovered „Canto
Posturale“ and continued her studies with Beatrice Sarti.
 
Following her passion for Jazz, she decided to continue her studies at the „G.B. Martini“
conservatory, Bologna. There she worked with Diana Torto for five years and graduated
with honours in 2013.
 
Further enrichments to her musical career have been harmony, jazz piano and
improvisation with Roberto Olzer, Ramberto Ciammarughi, Ensemble music with Ramberto
Ciammarughi, Internships and masterclasses: „Nuovo Jazz“, „Sheila Jordan & Cameron
Brown“, Tiziana Ghiglioni, Bob Stoloff, „La voce artistica“ with Franco Fussi etc.
Recordings.
 
In 2010 she made a guest recording of bossa nova songs together with Rudy
Magliardi, Riccardo Fioravanti and Marco Castiglioni for the label „Music Center“; In 2012
she recorded „AVORIO“, a jazz duo CD with pianist Roberto Olzer for „201editions“.
Elisa Marangon works as a freelance singer on projects with various jazz groups. She is a
teacher for modern and jazz singing at the „Make Music“ school, Domodossola, Italy; the
„Mat“ school, Lugano, Switzerland and the „Società Filarmonica“, Villadossola, Italy.
 
At present, she is working on her latest comtemporary jazz project, which includes some of
her own original compositions, with clarinetist and saxophonist Mauro Negri, pianist
Roberto Olzer and double bass player, Yuri Goloubev.
 
Apart from the above mentioned musicians, Elisa has also collaborated with: Nicola
Stranieri, Mauro Battisti, Wally Allifranchini, Alessandro Maiorino, Michele Gori, Max De
Aloe, Lorenzo Erra, Martino Vercesi, Michele Guaglio, Walter Calafiore, Marcello Testa,
Riccardo Chiaberta, Dario Trapani, Beppe Barbera, Roberto Mattei and others.
