Nicola Bardini

Born in Mantua in 1973, began playing at the Conservatory of Music "Lucio Campiani.
His first instrument was the violin which he studied for a few years. Graduated in music theory and complementary piano, he decided to abandon classical studies and approaches to jazz and sax thanks to 'friend Mauro Negri, jazz musician of in-ternational fame.
With him begins to attend private lessons and master classes. Always searching for an own style and sound, he found in jazz and improvised music the creativity and the willingness to experiment that always fascinated and encouraged him.
In addition to his quintet, with whom he recorded the 2010 album "Flowers of Celluloid" dedicated to the music of Django Reinhardt, is engaged in other collaborations, ranging from soul-funk and Work-out! 5tet (with whom he has already released two albums) to standards jazz Meditation Jazz Group.
Throughout his career he specialized teachers with Mauro Negri and Robert Bonisolo. He also participated in numerous seminars, some of which held by Dave Liebman, Steve Lacy. He lives and works in Mantua where he is a lawyer.
